No mundo de Ancar a tecnologia avançou baseada na conversão de uma fumaça expelida pelo núcleo do planeta por gêiseres titânicos em energia. Grandes fábricas foram construídas ao redor do globo para armazenar e converter essa fumaça em energia limpa, barata e eterna.

O ambiente inóspito do interior das fábricas onde as complexas reações químicas aconteciam impossibilitou o trabalho humano. Foi criada a Colossus uma inteligência artificial independente capaz de gerir toda a produção e manutenção das fábricas de fumaça.

Na cidade de Saint Paul uma das fábricas cortou a comunicação e o fornecimento de energia, é então convocado Xavier Pontes, um mercenário cuja a mente está aprisionada no robô de exploração XPL-0R4T0R (XPL), uma máquina projetada para exploração de áreas inóspitas, sua missão é identificar o mau funcionamento da Colossus e restaurar o sistema de gestão ao seu normal.

In the world of Ancar the technology advanced based on the conversion of a oke expelled by the nucleus of the planet by titanic geysers in energy. Large factories were built around the globe to store and convert this oke into clean, cheap, and eternal energy.

The inhospitable environment inside the factories where complex chemical reactions took place prevented human labor. Colossus was created an independent artificial intelce capable of managing all the production and maintenance of the oke factories.

In the city of Saint Paul one of the factories cut off communication and power supply, Xavier Pontes, a mercenary whose mind is trapped in the XPL-0R4T0R (XPL) exploration robot, is designed to exploit inhospitable areas, its mission is to identify Colossus malfunction and restore the management system to its normal.
