ubuntu16.04下出现登陆不进去

简介

我用的系统是ubuntu16.04 lts，lts是长期更新的意思，所以有时候更新的话，会导致和NVIDIA驱动冲突，所以需要重新安装一下就可以了。

方法

首先得先进入tty1控制台，具体是在登录界面直接按ctrl+alt+F1，然后输入账号，密码登录进去。

然后关闭X-windows服务，不执行这步的话，直接安装会有提醒的

sudo service lightdm stop

然后可以安装了，我的驱动在Downloads文件夹下，一直没有删除。

cd Downloads/
sudo ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-390.25.run

然后点击accept，然后按照如下操作

there appear to already be a driver installed on your system(version:390.25),As part of installing this driver(version:390.25).the existing dirver will be uninstalled.Are you sure want to continue
点击continue installationthe distribution-provided pre-install script failed!, Are you sure want to be constiue
点击continue installationWARNING：Unable to find a suitable destination to install 32-bit compatibility libraries. Your system may not be set up for 32-bit compatibility. 32-bit compatibility files will not be installed; if you wish to install them, re-run the installation and set a valid directory with the --compat32-libdir option.
点击okwould you like to run the nvidia-xconfig utility to automatically update your X configuration file so that the NVIDIA X driver will be used when you restart X ? Any pre-existing X configuration file will be backed up
点击 NOInstallation of the NVIDIA Accelerated Graphics Driver for Linux-x86_64(version:390.25) is now complete.  Please update your XF86Config or xorg.conf file as appropriate;see the file
/usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/README.txt for details.
点击OK

然后键入sudo reboot 重启就可以了
