前言

前几篇用Buidroot搞的都是近乎纯净版的系统, 开机极快(~5s), 根文件系统占用极小(<10M), 纯净就意味着功能少, 很多东西没有, 要用的时候还要回去勾选.
那有没有把常用的系统组件都打包好, 开箱即用的固件, 也是有的, 常见的有Debian/Ubuntu/Arch Linux等的固件, 开机后用户可以直接设置联网, SSH, apt安装应用等. 本篇就继续抄作业走下 stm32mp157a-dk1 编译 Ubuntu 20.04 固件 的流程.

流程

大概是把Buildroot的流程拆开做了, 要经历:

  • 交叉编译器下载, 因为要在PC上编译ARM平台的固件
  • U-Boot 下载与编译, U-Boot作为引导程序, 支持的芯片平台特别多, 这里把 stm32mp157a-dk1 板子的编译出来就可以
  • Linux Kernel, 这个基本是主线内核, 下面指定编译出支持ARMV7平台的, 长期支持的5.10.x内核
  • Ubuntu 20.04的根文件系统, 或者这一步也可以选Debian, 或者Arch Linux等, 里面把apt等常用的组件都打包好了, 开箱即用, 缺点自然是要占数百兆(~900MB)存储空间, 开机后内存占用也几乎50MB以上, 如果芯片只有64MB内存, 还是要小心一点, 所幸stm32mp157a-dk1板载有512MB DDR3, TF卡手头刚好有128GB的TF卡, 问题都不大
  • 接着给空白的TF卡分区, 大致4个区, 放入两段引导, U-Boot, 然后是根文件系统, 内核, 配置好extlinux.conf, 告诉引导程序内核放在哪, 设备树放在哪, 调试口是哪个等
  • 最后把TF卡插板子上, 接上调试串口, 上电就可以了

开机

接上板子的ST-LINK USB, 打开串口终端, 115200-8-N-1, 上电, 一开始反应比较慢, 多等等, 很多东西没打印出来, 开机到登录约20s, 默认HDMI有文字界面显示, 无图形界面显示
