What elective to choose

选修课的选择

Nowadays, thereexist a wide range of selective courses in college which are ready for theundergraduates to choose from. These courses make the students’ college lifemore colorful. However, as for the purpose of choosing the selective courses,different students have different opinions.

当下，本科生都在准备选择大学里的选修课。选修课使同学的大学生活多姿多彩。然而，对于选修课的目的，同学们有着不同的看法。

Some studentschoose more selective courses just to get more knowledge, so that they could bewell-prepared for the future job-hunting and find a satisfactory job. Somestudents just want to extend their interests. Some students believe that theknowledge in the compulsory course textbooks is limited, thus they shouldchoose more courses in order that they can enjoy more colorful college life. Andthe others have no definite aims but to finish their studies.

一些同学选择选修课是为了学习更多的知识，以便为他们以后的工作和找到一份满意的工作做准备。一些同学想通过选修课拓展他们的兴趣。还有一些同学觉得必修课的知识是很有限的，于是，他们选择更多的课程来是他们享受多姿多彩的大学生活。其他的学生还没有明确的目标。

As far as I amconcerned, I just want to learn more for my future job and life. And I don’tcare about the grade I would have got. I just want to be a man with sharp,vivid and imaginative mind with different knowledge which is not limited to mymajor. I think more knowledge can make my future life easier and moreinteresting.

就我而言，我只想为我以后的工作和生活多学习一些。我不关心我会得到什么样的评分，我只想做一个敏锐，生动并且具有想象力，不局限只有我专业知识的人。我认为学习更多的知识可以让我未来的生活更从容有趣。
