摘要：

The article cites a study which uses a combination of chromatin immunoprecipitation and microarray analysis to explore the histone modifications, transcription-factor binding and nucleosome density in 30 megabytes of human genome. It states that active human promoters were nucleosome-depleted and showed enrichment of trimethylation of Lysx4 of histone H3 (H3K4), while enhancers showed enrichment of monomethylated H3K4. It likewise stated that the researchers has integrated these distinct promoter and enhancer chromatin signature into a computational analysis, which made them identify several promoters and enhancers of other genes.
