Guide for Authors

Annals of Applied Mathematics (The original name is Annals of Differential Equations, which was founded in 1985) is an international journal devoted to the publication of original research papers and review articles in all areas of applied mathematics, with an emphasis on differential equations, applied probability and statistics, computational mathematics, discrete mathematics, and operations research. The journal is published in one volume annually consisting of four issues.

Please note: Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as a part of a published lecture or academic thesis or conference), and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere in any other language.

Author names and affiliations:

Present the authors’ affiliation addresses below the names. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country, and the email address of each author.

Keywords:

Immediately after the abstract, provide 3 to 5 keywords.

Mathematics Subject Classification:

Adopt 2010 Mathematics subject Classification (AMS).

Abbreviated title:

A short running head of not more than 35 characters, including spaces, should be provided.

Acknowledgements:

If necessary, a brief Acknowledgements section may be included at the end of the article before the references.

References:

References should be listed in the alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript. Any further information such as author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc. should be given. Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also presented in the reference list (and vice versa). Unpublished results and personal communications should not be in the reference list, but may be mentioned in the text. Citation of a reference as ‘in press’ implies that the item has been accepted for publication.

Citations in the text:

Indicate reference(s) by number(s) in square bracket in the text as [1], [1,2], [1-3,5]. The actual authors can be referred to, but the reference number(s) must always be given.

Reference to a journal publication:

Submission of manuscripts

Annals of Applied Mathematics (The original name is Annals of Differential Equations, which was founded in 1985) is sponsored by Fuzhou University and is one of the transactions of China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. The journal is devoted to the publication of original research papers and review articles in all areas of applied mathematics, with an emphasis on differential equations, applied probability and statistics, computational mathematics, discrete mathematics, and operations research. The journal is published in one volume annually consisting of four issues.

Annals of Applied Mathematics requests electronic submission of manuscripts, which should be written in English and sent to aam@fzu.edu.cn. Authors should submit their papers in PDF. If a paper is accepted, the LaTeX or TeX version of the paper is required. When submitting a manuscript, authors should provide their telephone numbers and emails.
