steam社区找到的解决方法 作者原文：

Hello all. I broke Stellaris trying to optimize it for I crazy game I was trying to finish.

Anyway : the game would not launch because of an APPSCRASH on pops_api.dll.

Reason : Steam could not find my My Documents folder ( I moved it to a ram drive to get rid of the constant saving lag ).

Long story short : I forgot to make the ram drive bootable, and save the image on shut down ...lost all my saves...but it was time for them to die anyway )

Windows 7 seems to hate my ram drive btw... getting BSoD on boot up sometimes ( moved my temp files to the same drive )

So if you cannot find your My Documents Folder : click start : then click on your just under the square picture thing. It will open your library folder. If your My Documents is a short cut, then you moved it someplace ( it is sometimes hidden : unhide system files )

To find where you moved it : goto :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders and look for Personal ( the location should be listed there )

also, if you change this reg key, you will need to go to :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

and change the Personal reg key there too.

My problem : I forgot to re-create the actual folder it was pointing to ( Z:\My Docs in my case )

Anyway, I created the folder on the ram drive and the game started right up.

Steam does put all your saves in My Documents folder, so either back them up manually or move the folder back to a physical drive when your shutting down.
