除了“sorry for cofusing you with someone else." 还可以说

Sorry. I thought you were someone else.
Sorry. I mistook you for someone else.
So sorry. You are not the one I'm looking for. My mistake.
My apologise. I got a wrong person.

e.g.

- Sorry. I don't think we know each other.
- Oh, I'm so sorry. I thought you were someone else.

- Have we met before?
- Oh, no. Sorry. I mistook you for someone else.

- Are you sure you are looking for me?
- So sorry. You're not the one I'm looking for. My mistake.

- Sorry. I don't know you.
- My apologies. I got a wrong person.
