网络接口卡	即网卡，缩写为NIC。是一种网络适配器。
集线器	相当于多个中继器；对接收到的信号进行整形和放大，再采用广播方式发送。不同速率的集线器不能通信。
路由器	用于实现分组交换，转发收到的分组。
交换机	“更厉害的集线器”，内部存储MAC表，工作在数据链路层
三网融合	把电信网络、有线电视网络、计算机网络融合成一种网络来形成兼容多种业务的运维模式。
计算机网络(网络)	由诸多结点和链路组成，将计算机连接在一起
Internet (互联网/因特网)	诞生于1983年。将计算机通过路由器连接在一起，具有连通性和共享两大基本特点。采用TCP/IP协议族作为通信协议的规则，前身为阿帕网。与网络相连的计算机通常称为主机。
ARPANET (阿帕网)	出现于1969年，是今天互连网的雏形。
internet(互连网)	泛指由多个计算机网络互连而成的计算机网络。
结点	计算机、集线器、交换机、路由器等都可以作为结点。
主机 (站/站点/工作站)	局域网上的计算机。
链路	连接各个结点。
C/S方式 (客户-服务器方式)	客户是服务请求方，服务器是服务提供方。
