有些小学，尤其是外国语特色的小学，会在采用标准版英语教材的同时补充其它教材。补充教材百花齐放八仙过海：有采用深港版朗文，有采用香港朗文，有采用新概念，有采用上海牛津，也有采用典范英语的。

我们小学采用的是《典范英语》，有些妈妈会发现《典范英语》和牛津树有很多重复，但也有很多差异，那么这两套书到底有什么区别呢？

用一句话来概括，《典范英语》是《牛津阅读树》的浓缩版。

《典范英语》是国内专家 从《牛津阅读树》中精选了最适合我国中小学生阅读的309个最有趣的故事和64部最引人入胜的文学读本，在内容上完全相同。不同的是，为了便于中国学生学习，《典范英语》专门配上了标准的英式录音和精确的中文注释。
